Students are pulled from their Related Arts classes once a week for a Band Sectional. In the sectional, we focus on techniques and skills specific to the student's instrument, concentrate on passages from Band that are difficult or especially challenging for that instrument, and do most challenges. Since the Sectional Schedule is static against the flopping of A-Day/B-Day Related Arts, a student ends up missing just one-half of a specific Related Arts class every other week. Students are responsible for ALL work missed and material covered in their Related Arts class while at sectionals.
